THE IPS FOUNDATION

For over 35 years, the Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) Foundation has invested in the growth and success of the IPS District. What started as an annual teacher grant program has evolved into a coordinated advancement organization. We work in true partnership with IPS district leadership to define priorities, as well as with community leaders and philanthropic champions to raise mission-critical funding that enables IPS to accelerate progress.

As the largest public school District in Indiana, diverse in both population and choice, IPS is an agile, innovative educational organization committed to academic excellence built through individualized, relationship-based learning. IPS is home to:

• 31,000+ students 

• 3,500+ teachers and staff

The IPS Foundation is honored to be the only organization that exists to raise money solely for IPS, and its students and educators. Our vision is to create an equitable and excellent educational experience where every IPS student and educator receives what they need, when they need it, and where they need it.
